the location was absolutely stunning, with beautiful grounds to explore. the room I stayed in was spacious and had a comfortable bed with lovely furnishings. the bathroom was also beautiful and had nice toiletries. the service provided by the hosts was exceptional, making me feel at home and ensuring I had a wonderful stay. the breakfast served in the dining room, with a roaring open fire, was exceptional.
I did notice that the room could benefit from some finishing touches, as it seemed unfinished in certain areas.

What a gem of a place! the architecture is breathtaking and the history behind it all is fascinating. We stayed in a lovely room that was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was one of the best we've had in a long time and it was served in a cozy room with a fireplace. the hosts were friendly and offered great suggestions for things to do in the area.
That the room got a bit chilly, but we were provided with electric blankets and hot baths helped warm us up. the location is a bit off the beaten path and may not be the best for those who want to be in the middle of a bustling city.

We recently went on a romantic escape and stumbled upon a charming historical property that made our holiday absolutely breathtaking. The house has an 800-year-old charm and absolutely stunning features that made us feel like royalty, while the warm greetings and service of the hosts made us feel right at home. The location was the perfect base for exploring the local area, with plenty of sightseeing destinations and activities within a short drive. The breakfast was a real treat, too, with a wide selection of delicious food to fuel our adventures for the day.
We did experience some issues during our stay. The room we stayed in was a little chilly, and it took some time for us to warm up.
